About Dr. Doug Forsstrom, DC, CCEP
I specialize in treating difficult neck and lower back disc problems associated with disc bulges, disc degeneration, spinal stenosis, and other spinal problems. Come in and let's discuss your problem and see if I can help you.
I graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri in 1978 and started practice in Kearney, Nebraska. I moved to Denver in 1985 and started my second practice in the south part of Centennial.
I was part of the Lone Tree Initiative Committee that organized the Lone Tree neighborhood to become a city. I served on the first Lone Tree City Council from 1996 to 2000.
My practice philosophy is to treat the spine to make it more functional. If a bone or vertebrae is twisted or subluxated out of normal alignment pinching the nerve and creating pain, then it needs to be manipulated back into place to allow the nerve to heal. If the pain in the neck or lower back is from a bulging disc or disc degeneration, then we need to do decompression traction to rejuvenate the disc and MedX therapy to strengthen the muscles, tendons and ligaments around the spine to increase the strength and function of the area.
I am a 'baby boomer' and I know that as we age our disc deteriate or degenerate. I treat other 'baby boomers' with disc degeneration and disc bulges with great success.
Come in for a consultation and I will show you how I can help you with all my hi-tech equipment.
